It has been more than 20 years since my first Belgian Sheepdog arrived, a rehome named Marcus. Three others have graced my life – Avatar Amethyst Aviv (Avi) and the current resident Magic’s Light of Vega (Vega) and Claire de Lune Shemesh (Shemi). Additionally I share my home with two Laekenois – Tater and Beanie.
Over the years we have dabbled in obedience, agility, Schutzhund and conformation. My dogs all love agility, as do I, so that is where most of our training is spent but we also train and compete in obedience.
In addition to doggy sports I bred my first litter of Belgian Sheepdogs. Vega was bred to Claire Trethewey’s Bravo; the litter of four girls arrived November 17. More about these girls can be found under the Puppies tab.
